contentious requests
to the letter
like tips of flight feathers
along a trailing edge


bluish white brackish habitats
hardly distinguishing
between wintering and breeding
by melodiously whinnying
while suffering staggeringly
buzzy and slithery tens of billions
of deceptively simple
bristle-tipped whopping figures
squirming in the dirt long term


pushing and pulling
as the poles warm
more and more
implausibly low balling
without warning
as irrational actions
of ingenuity and craft
in frisky dances
of perilous practices


suddenly falling
sullenly mourning
flinging handfuls
of water overboard
all according to a core
of unmannered sorts
in a roomful of small talk
as well-clawed-long-horned borers...
