Sand-swept gravel
species accountable
to high pounces
over spotted backs

unpatterned savannas
tall grasses wild cats
reproduced annually
occasionally blackish

tear stains on faces
during predation
in the rain
on a hunting range

in an open plain
swaybacked
with a wasp waist
faster than the fleetest prey

detaining a mate
pouncing play
rufous flanks
unmistakable
pups of late...
