in the most populous states
are blamed by the right to remain
silently radicalized


during deaths by suicide
being fueled by high crime
and small-time violence
while firey spires rise
on the Fourth of July
surviving alternative sites
of drone strikes
by hiding in boats nearby


as splashier
attention grabbing
mash ups of tragically
tabloidy uproars
become immersed
in the digital world
while winking
with hands on hips


in a spotless kitchen
offering up nonissues
as definitively vintage
collard hot dishes
as the hubris
of sole individuals
in ethnic exhibitions


wistfully indiscriminate
as templates for ships'
masthead figures
wearing pant legs
for doe-eye food chains
of wax-based face makeup
melting in front of fireplaces
while gazing up in resignation...
