resolutely dancing
to a funk band
swirling with improvisation
commanding
as marathon sets
gain momentum
determined to create
revving rhythm sections
beginning with a sprint
echoing staccato picking
at a fevered pitch
of synchronicity
redolent of reconciliation
left as fingerprints
on spring-green neon leaves...
