" Playing to a Packed House "

Playing to a packed house
sold out
expressed a cappella
as seemingly secular
yet pious uprisings
of unrequited retro styles
like heroic one-night stands
while in exile, "Who was
that masked man?"
"Hi-Ho Silver, Away!"
giddy app
into a full gallop of "has beens"
shot like cherry-picked parodies
winning the ratings battle
via satellite--remotely tragic
wallowing in the nostalgia
of fake ads on large scales
backed by small bands
plus secret ballots
for counterbalance
replete with quick neck snaps
during a blankety-blank
game of "Hangman"
like child's play...
