heaped upon the shoulders
of writhing giants
with primary appetites
for major grinds
twisty hips and jerkily
pre-emptive idiosyncrasies
neath strobing runway lights
with beats and vocal lines
after making toeholds
below plank-and-cable
mazes for sanctuary mavens
taking refuge in the shade
lacking cranial crests
black blotches on bellies
inflating when in danger
greenish to gray
heard calling suborders,
" y-eonk! y-eonk! y-eonk! " ...
