Drawing scorn
every morning
padding down stone paths
ensnaring false reports
if indeed they are wrong
according to law
stopping in the offing
because of the costs
of tanning salons
and strip malls
forewarned like longings
for informer recalls
thwarted by strategically important
hawkishly faulted officers
after sheltering behind enforced walls
in group portraits
along dusty stone floors
during standoffs
unfit to lead in war
attacks beginning shortly
far surpassing unleashing
nodding in agreement...
