Species illustrated
usually five-fingered
small callussy inner edges
turned back sharply
like high-spired-
fine-growth striae
two or three obsolete
blunt-toothed-rather streaky
well-heeled cultural leaps
sneakers squeak
during a brief recess
beneath palm trees
eking out dreams
by siphoning streams
of glistening ideas
"I do!" after becoming
undone
from unaccompaniment
flickering with no small feats
of hope-to-bes
pieced with blurry distinction
connecting deeply and genuinely
through similar veins
having been sent on their way
post once-rapturous
faces
on crumpled paper...
