Lingering over
a tender reedy croon
" loodle-loon, loodle-loon "
profuse white spotting monogamy
free from the isthmus
offshore inshore
like major portions
of oil platforms
as warnings
spiny and soft
handled with caution
arch short
to be avoided
slightly forked
at mid water
in fine running order
before long far too-many stories
of the all-too haunting
like the outer margins of metalmarks
with patterned orange blotches
and silver-spotted teardrops
bustling harmony
hurtling toward
an ambling short story
out of the ordinary
while looming largely
against benchmarks
bracingly negated naysayers
well steeped in plays
of extreme statements
conveyed as strong mates
like native-tongue wine tasting
with fragrant bouquets...
