Completely or Incompletely

" Completely or Incompletely "

Completely
or incompletely
chewed or used
for an infusion

drunk as a tea
colored fruits
and seeds

weakly keeled
wide red stripes
behind the eyes

pond sliders
fond of basking
stacked on logs

memoirish volumes
fondly exotic
putting things mildly

yet left unfazed
spindle
or vase-shaped

under a glowing twilight
pining for a burnished time
lush bird and vine

song dry
chatteringly
gregarious

erratic flight patterns
catching feathers in the air
lined with grasses

sized to grasp
oak tree beech
stippling tilled fields

daffodil and chicory
dazzling bits
centered edge to edge
boughs spreading...
