terrified of flies
dangling off the edge--
the harder
you punch and pull
the farther you cast
freshwater
saltwater
catapulting bait
at close range
as narrow
sausage shapes
unhook safely
quickly and humanely
tropically updated
while speaking
in tongues
" feet " in slang
with twisted ankles
' round Loch Ness
minus web access
modern gestures
like the spare pizazz
of a pizza makers hands
tossing slippery
grated cheeses
onto oozing
doughy material
simultaneously
palming the reel
while landing
a single pike
with a pair
of long-nose pliers...
