Extreme Triumphal Weeding Haiku Series

"Extreme Triumphal
Weeding Haiku Series"

Before a hoedown
phantom barnyard grasses sprout
troweling turnarounds

cloned near cluttered homes
entering without knocking
hollow-sounding bash

skeletal remains
delving into detritus
trauma to the head

slogging in the yard
abandoned homes, emptied lots
donning barbed wire

drowsily zig-zagged
knowingly showing and shown
profiled prone to lows

paying top dollar
admirably acknowledged
me-too worlds of art

later-day khaki
all-seeing eye survivors
camouflaged fatigues

feisty, brass-knuckley
eminently trust worthy
long after cancer

invasive species
extreme triumphal weeding
hosed down high-waisted

expecting to pitch
emissaries of good will
yelling "frond" farewells...
