Eternally fraught
in a body of charcoal
and pencil spacial wit
tilting and bending


snarling nosying around
in unembellished backgrounds
of salvaged irregularities of cowardice
fleshed out lobed as oddly mediocre


multiple solos
as accumulations
of snaky scrapings
from hokey-pokeying grownups


lacking tangible access standing back
as ecclesiastical haberdashers
considered miraculous


soot-sodden chintz
reverting to illegible prints
of sacrificial offerings



facing leaded windows
cruel and fickle scalloped trim
of unpaid bills with matching pink slips


hand-written scripture
under the dreamed-up covers
of an unsaintly laity...
