looming large with black leggings
while marching in parades
and staking claims to ticker tape
in full-service operations as staples
of made-up moneyed games
of modern-day fragrances
like cult favorites that won't fade away


after cantering throughout crusades
as tankers sank on vintage radio
station configurations undulating
in choppy waves dinged and replaced
like breastplates waged as magnates
of speculation kept circulating
while hanging with revelations
widely spaced profanely
as soulful appreciation
