" Now Tethered "

Now tethered
at an opening reception
of howevers as dance filaments
with self-identities at the center
reading text messages
of the glittery set
in reinvention
as corrective measures
stunning yet unimpressive
keeping to themselves
as single concepts
minus dementia
with vibrant rugby stripes
where the answer lies
while trying to fit just right
but never really minding why
winding up forthrightly
on the unbearable side
above the biceps of otherwise
like pricey designers
darting like dragonflies
streaked above riptides
in the wilds of madras bow ties
once spied like faint outlines
on the wild side
of noncompliance
gone awry as giant
black-eyed oxeyes
as lance-leaved
sneezeweed
with mouse ears...
