Pivoting
in quiet mode
close up
in a collapsing
cloud of anti-matter
where radiation
is lacking
within the vacuum
of heavy atoms
being pulled outward
by a sorrowful past
where amnesty
was absent
and freedom invalid
largely free-standing
as footprints
and fingerprints
of history
stiffer than glass
and steel still jarring
in the offing
like misbegotten
lollipops
and hit-or-miss
firearms
consigned to oblivion
with bullets whizzing
while would-be
ass•ass•ins
are transfixed
by misfired
delusional wishes...
