Mom Suzán
An occasional winged creature
soaring in a limitless expanse
beneath an illusionistic ceiling
of scant opportunity
however lavishly
challenged values
subject to canons on canvas
accompanied by swarming cupids
intimate in scale becoming cramped
with individual fancies
gaining vast misunderstandings
of hardly surprising facts
after remedying major catastrophes
and overindulging in narrative gusto
far more gifted and rigorous
as absorbed influences
of intrinsic wit and wisdom
through the subtle
subconsciousness
shifts of emphasis
reaching full expression
layered with amorous inventiveness
plus personal pleasures
radiating in every direction
generating emotional tension
without precedent
unposed and uncropped
phenomenons virtually beyond
the frequently startling
tarnished armor
behind a facade
of disarming neutrality
facing a sign reading,
"SAVE" in giant letters
of "S" "A" "V" "E"
displayed in a barren landscape
as cults vainly seek salvation
through the deep blues
of backup groups
lacking in compassion
cheaper and less demanding
petering out...over-and-out...
