Nearing the Limit

" Nearing the Limit "

Nearing the limit
of the poorest
and the sickest
all across porous borders

unconverging in hyper-
disconnected worlds
as slowed searches
for lessons learned

while daylight returns
earlier and earlier
to a whirling
northern Earth

long before the talk
of a thaw or the last straw
based on true-to-life stories
hurrying along like new life forms

garbed in pale mints
and diaphanous mauve floras
augmented by quizzically
magisterial faunas

tantalizingly plausible
like principle sources
of DNA crisscrossing
in spindles and looms

spun as strands
of balanced
rhythmic vitality
and creative intrigue

suffused with buoyancy
of folkloric cores
bobbing across borders
streaming with fulfilling discourses...
