bunglingly lethal
left writhing
after singing out too loudly
over stripping the physics
of screeching instability
losing ice sheets during rising high C's
spiking like crises
kept alive in scrubby plights
blighted by denial
whittled down
to the stiffest
defensive principles
with propensities to hit
within thickening mists
minus the alacrity of victory
eye-catchingly straining
while twitching violently
behind home plate
in neatly aligned ringside seats
in a finely cut diamond
barred for life...
