Like socialite spiders
for the much-maligned
old lady that swallowed a fly
I don't know why
she swallowed a fly
clicking on icons
mimicking twinkly-eyed
telescoping night skies
during trying times
of the highly dissatisfied
having been riled
between and behind
underlying layers of iodine-like
personality types
kissed off pissed off
beneath parasitic sprigs
of white-berried twigs
as is the tradition
begging to differ
after first glimpses
of predispositions
towards the somewhat rigid
stable versus conflicted
in synch with the horrific ubiquity
of Chicken Littles--
Well shiver me timbers!
