Mom Suzán
Everything but silence
as slightly unreal
people creatures and spirits
becoming unusually precise
while sitting, strolling
and lollying about
couched in innuendo
paired overhead
roughly sketched
like pain and pleasure
thick with references altogether disconnected by intention
in linear sequences as of yesterday
conceptually unobjective
among the senses
minus ineffectual pretext
vastly preferential
nonetheless
as unmentionableness
between ourselves
preserved for posterity
like candle snuffers
and the sand glasses
of our forebears
with scrappy portraits of family
calmly in command
quietly overlapping in passages...
