" Sensitive to a Fault "

Mom & Mom-

Sensitive to a fault
out of respect for the source
foregoing walks
perplexing artifacts
flirting with the banal
however melancholy
while longing to sing
hard-drinkingly
during flings
with mummies
as clumsily as mixed up nuts
bustily loosened up
by the ultimately troubled
chain-smoking doldrums
leaching toxicity
like reality shows without notions
of pleadingly old wheelbarrows
being rolled over uncohesive
cobblestones of foreboding
onetime poets as voice-overs drone
interposed with little-known
funny-bone oldies
like second-hand smokes
lauded as heroes
charmingly silly yet lethal
scintillatingly reconfigured
figurines over snazzily
pale-pink altarpieces
steering clear of, "You are here!"
like chiming blessings in high decibels
emblematical of matrimonial fragments
trapped in tapestries as ominous
coats of arms with medical problems
mismatched as the heads or tails
of Rennaisance dancers disenchantingly choreographed
with the overlapping calibers
of intangibly scarred madness
confounded by stacks
of divergent reactions
for potted plants
aligned within the matchstick
gaps of hand-sized canvases in sand...
