" Knacks for Imbalance "
by Suzán Jiván
Mom & Mom-
Mom Suzán
In the right mood
like hyper-verbose
wholly irrelevant
sexual identities
as teasingly
semi-surreal
perversity
keenly curdling
unbecomingly
overstuffed
with eccentricities
as marble-mouthed
musings of majesty
with unraveling
knacks for imbalance
called, "jams"
serenely chilly
ends and means
less scary
more enchanting
beyond the capacity
of taken-for-granted
fairy tales
drained of cultish color
from stumblingly
suspended disbeliefs
unimpeachably
executed as feats
without missing a beat
as streaks of cruelty backfire
like paranoiac friendly fire
attuned to the slightest match strikes
as thuggish babushkas bite
their tongues with the unpolished cutlery of touched-up plot summaries...
