going easily increasingly exacting
ending up unbuttoned once shunned
and still wondering ruggedly ugly
giving up on a cult of filament bulbs
for unsung cocktail bums as young
as they come gone bust


adopting intolerably gentlemanly fop
daubing improbabilities on avatars
gone to seed with tweed auditing
muscle memories while donning
white jeans of tear-dropped androgyny
and dangling funky-chunky love beads


dark and dirty more trick than treat
blanketed by extremes in locked-door mysteries called "weapons of war"
deemed to be exceedingly
nondescript soul definitions


raising fears of crime scenes
while buzzing someone in
criminalistically privy to hospice
toy sifters bedbound in tiny houses
for lowbrows losing ground to the down
and out just below holes on the ozone



funding fragility with unlimited liquidity
inapplicable to vigorous models of risk
slumping sharply teetering on the brink
of re-entry outlined by fragrance lines
launched by retired astronauts
while trimming trees' genes
weightlessly breathtaking


previously shady gone crazy
through the tangle of hard-to-tame
de-layering without raiding
sorting and grading generous spaces
on great drainage with with communion
wafers never worthy of the day


finger high by the way
with an eerily lifelike artificial leg
in the entranceway after a rain
of discarded negatives like forensic
facial recognition in the raw space
of a loft with plenty of storage
in the understory of a husky mother
lugging a yak rug and coffee carafe


floundering around in more
permanent digs sounding dorky
inside file drawers of easy to parody
quirky cedar potpourri hanging
like CliffsNotes over well-weathered dough bowls with the door left open
at its high point unrealized genuinely inspiring in elusive pursuit
of the all consuming
attempts to empty filled shoes
of pre-conclusions in a zoot-suit...
