as sentimental so-and-sos
thanks mostly to tenacious holds
playing roles
of unspeakable
voice overs
like bloated contrarians
short on details
self-deluded self-invented
overdone accents
of controlled vertigo
in vocal face-offs
of bravado's falsettos
or so the saying goes...
