while muscling in
unheeded and undermined
like shoulder-fired green blight
stepping down
coming around
after being
heat-seeked
profoundly impacted
thickened and blackened
rescinded decisions in cinders
of volatile silhouettes in gas-rich
emirates with limited efforts
on incidental weapons
as accidents of nothing yets
considered legends
like unintelligible lessons
peppered just around the edges
of meant insteads
tantalizingly threaded
with dreaded irreverence
for irrelevance
like nervous suspects
of incredibleness
as legacies
mutilated by makeshift ridicule
heard and unheard-of
as steady work for murmured
last words...
