deviously reimagined

and rebuilding castles of sand
by calling on brats as mishaps
of high-wire acts

closing the gap
as it so happens
with little chance
of latching onto tall tails

after cantering two laps
with sacks of snacks
on madcap horseback
unable to keep track of chitchat

tripping tartly and jollily
in bottom-heavy horn sections
of discredited artists in residence
minus transcendence

deftly up against
shrewd assemblages
of heroes and heroines
with no obvious merit

in bizarre endings
brutally addressed
by hyperextended
bedroom sex

invariably spectral
yet unintentionally elegant
reared-up heads
of utterly adept taloned menaces...
