being bested

pierced by disembodied
crimson lips
as a fix
for just about anything
unstinting in color
and versatility
while wiping away
cascading tears
copiously running down purply rouged streaked cheeks
grieving long after failing
to be credited properly
for free-streaming nascent
possibilities taken for granted...
