" Typhoon Removed "

Typhoon removed
by camel and on foot
out of kilter booming rivers
emptied subdivisions
armed with tips
in their rightful positions
getting sweeter with every sip
heavy and filling seemingly unlimited
slow-cooked and thickened
fragrantly acidic
nothing but winners
on bottle lists
nickel deposits
where? what?
made of barley
by artisans
easy drinking
not too sugary
zigzagging
in popularity
like braised
beef cheeks
reduced
and sweetened
aromatic cheeses
ooey gooey
rare brews eschewed
since childhood
typhoon removed...
