playing hands laid bare
appearing as alien
as an encore
for oddities of décor
like pink flamingos
with interactively green
fly-swatter feet
as idiosyncrasies
for far more vexing themes
squeegeeing unwieldy
jeebie-jeebies
during gluten-free odysseys
in a single evening
bursting into tears
behind cantilevered screens
of maximum security
endlessly recycling
artistically inclined passers-byes
calmly looking on
offering solace
balmily thinking not
with verbal arms
feeling more fondness
for felicities
while leaning gently
toward frailty
and its unbearably
dry-eyed wailings...
