Just played out
above the tree line
like palookas
being thrown for loops
while sampling mushrooms
to counteract the gloom
like lunar doodling
by cratered men in the moon
tapping the universe
avidly capturing childhood magic
read in fragments
of ragtag passages
offering flickering satisfaction
in oompa shadows haled as character
rather than the claptrap of doubters...
