An Iconographical setback
upon first awareness
of an entirely prolonging
different order
enticingly dotted with charts
and arguments for un-rock stars
focused on nebulous knowledge
gained in hard knocks
technically accomplished
during riveting mad scenes
writhing on our backs
arms dangling
forcefully imagined
while shouting, " Get Cracking! "
becoming densely entangled
in the front ranks
slobbering away across pallid stages
with the stylish gait of beggars
toting bigwig résumés
and speaking in salty twangs
well out of range
of no-nonsense vertical cracks
void of spackle
bangs fickly slicked back...
