" Truisms "

Truisms
swaggering off screen
jumbling warring feelings
bobbling heads babbling mouths
minutes elapsing
sounding deadlier
and much drier
beneath tightly
circumscribed
streetlights
from forehead to chin
settling into the dusky hush
of a half-funny live-action
interactive remake
passing away nowadays
without recrimination
for fairy tale babes
vividly showing the way
by painstakingly tracing
irreconcilable faces
seen in three angles
in the roundabout
of fair amounts
hauntingly throughout
like puzzle pieces
gone missing
in extinctions of species
after clanging alarms
carrying the plots
of attention-deficit problems
as somewhat preposterous
chart-toppers for super models
that more than startle
organ parts for hot-shots
while foraging
for no good reason
in dampening festivities
tamping down
the spontaneous sensuality
of chummy matters
bandstands at the back
disarmingly relaxed
engrossingly acted
competently cast
epic tragedies
whisked from families...
