like gratuities for cruelty
contracted anew
by squeezing the later
with a disparate
luxury tax
groaning wearily
while infringing
on sweaty inequities
as emcees
wary of publicity
becoming not long
in the coming
after ducking
into mentally measured
succeeding selves
in lethal previews like mean-
spirited concocted careers
bookended last minute
been outwitted
go figure...
