donning flack vests
and weapons at the ready
being screened
on TV and the web
like coveted celebrities
for up-and-coming
public consumption
baring near backless
cutouts and peek-a-boo
hot pinks as impromptu
retooled strength and beauty
finally the truth
with collars loosened
and blond tresses
attached as zapped extensions
no appointment necessary
futuristically sort of girlie
giving a twirl
while on the circuit...
