by smitten cobblers

free of vibrato
and unconcerned
with air columns
at The Philharmonic
large bronzes
low foreheads
thick lips as depicted
in mythic chapels
and pyramids
merging harsh realism
and elegant draftsmanship
while herding donkeys
with the bucolic charm
of excavated bedrock...
