for adversaries as well as innocents
going house-to-house
as death tolls mount
unannounced and unaccountable
mounting peril and panic
as ineffectual ethics panels
fail to take to task villainous actions

"SPLAT!!!!"
bright orange Bog Coppers
prominent black spots
flying feebly
red lines underneath
mind's pictures
fragmented histories
methodically trolled beaches
slag heaps demolition debris
accumulated booty
endless minutiae
tweaked and deleted
hanging noticeably low
tiny windows
lacking cleanness
and clarity turned cloudy...
