Won't be the only
at the very least
now-and-again
autumn breezing
heads down
knitted brows
suppressed smiles
avoided eyes
yanking curtains set aside
for flamenco-and-bullfighting alike
while settling for pretending
to remember months after death
unadmittedly cruel
yet sympathetic
as searingly high-strung
open-mouthed kisses
abandoned
by this and that
acutely stalled
by long drawn-out bawls...
