Late nights before sleep
jerry-rigged on-the-cheap
lithely wiry smiling coquettishly
rutted and bumpy
considering running
playing dumb
utterly flummoxed
out of timidity
unspeakingly lonely
pluckily pigeonholed
labeled, "Dry Clean Only"
gritty rather than glittery
right down to hackneyed
drip-dry cycles on gated islands
never passing gas...
