" Thought to Be "

Thought to be
a sly bit
like one-
upmanship
equally cheeky
like high-jinks
still pretty funny
yet abruptly thuggish
beyond the hulkingly
knock-kneed
while rocking
back on high heels
of vulnerability
struck by loveliness
trundling as a fictional couple
after sipping rum
meticulously colored
visiting one such
inconsistency
with rad intensity
as stylistic
contradiction
re-jiggered
by indecision
with an uplift
of commitment
like a punk spirit
thrice a year
as the outrageous
ranges of harsh languages
from first-rate to dismay
in a face-off during waning days
waged as restored claims
to top-rate arcane slang
uncontaminated by indefatigable
obscure ballads applied by agile
high sopranos while playing a cactus
and mimicking "oohs" and "ahhs"
as carefully plotted soda bottles
in an ignoble denouement...
