along archipelago slopes
being ringed
by gargantuan
mangrove trees
becoming home
to kaleidoscoped
bungalows
as motorized
fishing boats
ply bayous
whizzing past
deserted coves
marred by piled milestones
having fallen out of vogue
like hardened lava flows...
