pitting the sea
wide and deep
at just the right snideness
of a hiss-worthy villain
more wondrous still
humorously funny
like plum crumble
as an indulgence of gluttony
scuttlebutt for a crusty chuckle
thumb flicked
into a rundown dinghy...
