coming under
whirring surveillance
being denied a chance
wearing a monster mask
breathing naturally
subservience to gadgetry
concocting topsy-turvy
smatterings of slapstick
like cringing fantasies
enabling mugging
alternately
grumpy and sweet
with crocodile tears
flowing in between
storming and stressing
to numbing effect...
