spanning ancient grasslands
barely visible
as complete organisms
with suckerfish
swarming across its skin
with ship strikes on the rise
as sound waves penetrate
the density of prey
known to migrate
thick with krill
hoping to visit
from start to finish
along the perimeter
no longer visible...
