building momentum
from a glower to a pout
hands down, spellbound
underground
lilac walls, red doors
just, " Because "
living by wits
in flash-lighted pictures
and the like undisguised
anchored by uncanny eyes
in pursuance of mankind
like tough guys
hobbled by black and white
at first light
As memories of ice
at first sight
with razor-bladed vibes
designed entirely
as snippets from diaries
incessantly reprinted
republished and revisited
as unexhibited inhibitions
in pale pink, light green
and deep lavender
refractions
of extravagance
trickling
in hour-
glasses
coated
in wax...
